8 1651 season tickets had been sold ranking the Seminoles fifth out of 12 in ACC attendance for women’s basketball. Their previous record was 1147 season tickets sold during the 2006-07 season. “I think we are taking a step in the right direction” FSU sports marketing assistant Drew Longenecker said. “This will always be a football school but I think we can definitely grow our attendance numbers. “At $30 or $15 for students and seniors season ticket holders can watch home games against teams like Clemson Duke Miami and Texas A&M; a possible fifth year in a row participating in the NCAA tournament; free T-shirts; and half-time promotions. “I think a lot of people are missing a lot of good basketball” said Bob Blankenship a fan of 10 years. When asked how FSU could fill more seats Blankenship said he wasn’t sure.
